Whether it be for a birthday, anniversary, graduation, or potty training, DL can help you celebrate!

Birthdays – make certain to make City Hall your first visit when you enter the park. You’ll receive a “Happy Birthday” button with your name and *gasp!* your age on it! But don’t worry, if you don’t want anyone to know how old you really are, they won’t put it on there!

Another fun way to celebrate a birthday is to have a party with Pat E. Cake at Plaza Inn Restaurant!  There, you’ll be entertained by Pat E. Cake, himself and you’ll enjoy an individual cake decorating contest between you and everyone else at the party.  Then, Mickey and Minnie come out to lead a special conga line through the restaurant, after which they will pose for photos, with everyone there.  Your $10 gets you an individual cake to decorate and enjoy and a souvenir cup.  Photos with Mickey & Minnie are extra.

Note: It’s rumored that this area may eventually be taken over by the Princess Fantasy Faire when it’s moved due to the creation of the upcoming Pixie Hollow.  So if you’d like to enjoy this as a birthday attraction, do it this year!

Character Dining

Character Dining

Character Dining – Don’t under estimate the fun of Disney’s Character Dining options.  Yes, they’re even fun enough for a kid!  I personally have only been to a handful, and I’ve mostly enjoyed myself.  Lilo & Stitch, Minnie & Friends, Woodland Creatures and Goofy all have breakfast to visit and enjoy.  Prices range $15-30 and when you check-in, just let them know you are celebrating a birthday and they’ll be certain to treat you extra special!  Call  (714)  781-DINE  (up to 60 day in advance) .

Train rides – Want to impress a kid (big or small)? Get them a ride with the train engineer! There are only two trains in the park that you can do this on – and there are only 2 seats – but a ride can be had. When you are at the Main Street station, ask the conductor as you enter the wait area. If the appropriate trains are running, they will have you stand in a special area. Remember – only 2 at a time can ride!
